I went camping with some friends last weekend in the Los Padres national forest near Fort Ligget and we saw plenty of these guys.

I can deal with snakes and most other insects, but spiders creep me out. I used to live in southern Texas and there were terantulas and scorpions all over.

Thanks Howard! Naw, I wasn't in Abq, I took this shot at the wetlands at the Riparian Institute in Gilbert AZ over the Turkey Day break. They have a huge effluent fed wetlands complex there.
