If you don't know there are several methods of finding the axle gear ratio. I would recommend that so you can find the correct tire size for your application. I would pull the differential cover and inspect the gears and gear oil. If you do not know the history of the truck, water crossings or lack of maintenance may be an issue and you can prevent expensive repairs. The ratio is usually on the ring gear or you can do a tooth count. Another method is to count tire rotation to drive line rotation... How many times drive line spins to tire rotation. You can easily find specifics online on the subject.
