I posted this in the Expo camper forum. I'm not trying to spam, but thought that it might be be more appropriate for this forum.
Hi Guys,
To preface, I have an 03 Ranger that I am trying to kit up to do more camping with. It's a 2wd truck, but I plan on having a locker put in eventually. I already have a cap for the truck (aluminum pos), and have been looking for a nicer fiberglass upgrade.

I think the price is right, and it's pretty much exactly what I've been after. The only thing is though, it's for an 04' and older Tacoma. Will I run into serious issues if it doesn't fit exactly? My bed is the standard length bed for a stock 03 ranger. I called the local ARE dealership to get more info, and they straight up told me that it would not work, and that the dimensions, though close, would not look right. I feel that they would prefer me to purchase a new one though, and that their opinion might be skewed. Is it worth going out and trying to fit on my bed?
