nice! wheels can be a bit tough to find for tundras i noticed, couldn't find any steel wheels but stock to fit without a spacer. i figured either go with stock alloys or steelies, or search the aftermarket, went with mickey thompson style 8 holes, easy to find and not overly flashy. good job on the mods, good luck with the wheel search!

Stopped by Discount for a fitment test on the MB's...(Not going with the chome.....Just for fitment only.....)

16x8.5

8.5 are too wide for me......and the 7" are to narrow.....The current steel rim is an 8".....Looks like i'm going with an 8" wide rim.....

The Black Rocks seem to be the ticket....

I did have a little fun a few some 05' 4runner sport rims...

My plan was to paint them black and buy new tires to fit the 17" rims.....But i decided to sell them due to my current BF muds have great thread....Plus it just was too much wheel and i had to buy spacers to fit the new tires...

Very nice Taco. I love the front bumper. How much weight did it add to the front of the truck?
Does it wear your tires prematurely?

Against going with ATX Mojave Teflon's? 16x8 with 4.5" BS.

I have heard bad things about the teflon.........I have heard the hub caps doesn't fit with Tacoma's....The teflon over time either is easy to scratch or fades....Not sure to any truth to this....

I have not totally given up on them.....

The ARB added about 80 lbs..+/- plus 50 lbs for the warn winch.....No weird tire wear....All is good. Adds a great look plus the protection of steel.

Let's hear more about the new bed setup. What's your plan?

Lots of Alum., gas shocks, a few hinges, and LOTs of blood and sweat!

I'm in the design process......Just about ready to have my structural engineer review it....

I will post some plans very soon.
