I have a soft spot for Willys wagons, My brother bought a bone stock, very clean 56 Willys Wagon in 1982 when he was 16. He then put a 327,sm420,9in. rear, P.S. Spring over, Etc. Back then it was all about big lifts and big tires. Hope you don't mind if I post a few pics.
Here are a few of my 57 Parkway. In high school this thing was so pimp! It was cool in College too but spending 100-300 a week just in parts to keep it moving was to much for me.
I forgot to mention the Travelers I have seen had sliding side windows, roof rack, and the cots bolted in above the wheel wells. It was super basic and made for a guy to take fishing I think the Willys literature said.
