Wiring and mounting invertor?

I've owned two Jeeps. A "99 TJ, and still own a 2012 JKU. Owned a Suzuki Samurai in the 90s. Off roaded quite a bit. And worked on my own vehicles. Lived in the PNW and Socal.

I live in the Phillipines now. Traveling several islands, off roading and looking for land to start an off grid homestead. Just bought a new Suzuki Jimny 3 door. Put in an OME lift kit. A roof rack. Putting in some sound deadening and heat shield. And am upgrading the head unit so I can monitor fluid temps.

Have a Bluetti AC180P battery station and 350w solar panels. Starlink roam. And possibly a small fridge at some point. Mainly need to power a laptop, phones, handheld radios, and the Starlink.

I have a 5000w pure sine wave invertor I want to wire and mount. Possibly under the passenger seat. Or a better location if I find a better recommendation.

I've worked in vehicles my entire life. Replaced transmissions and other peripheral parts. But I am not a mechanic or electrician. I do know my way around most tools. Can read a Chilton's guide. ;) And have replaced head units, stereo systems and done some wiring before. But never installed or mounted an invertor.

Where is there a good tutorial, white paper or how to on installing an invertor?
I know I need higher guage wire. But need some directions to follow? I am not sure how much I need to jest or fire protection my mounting location. I did find a metal underseat drawer for the Suzuki Jimny. The metal lid is predrilled to ride under the passenger seat. Considering mounting the invertor to that metal lid - which would mount the invertor upside down under the seat. And not touching the floor. Is that necessary? Or can I just mount it directly to the floor?

I do have to remove the interior, including the carpet and seats as part of the sound deadener/heay shield/head unit/speaker install. Should I cut the carpet while it's out and mount directly to the floor?, on an additional mounting plate?, on top of the carpet?

I assume if I can find space directly under the dash on the firewall would be best to shorten the wire run as much as possible. Unlikely but I am going to measure.

Was also concerned about accessing the invertor to plug and unplug things into it. Are their extension outlets you can add? Or other devices that might allow me to mount up under the dash, out if the way, but still give me easily accessable outlets?

Thank you in advance for any help you might have. I sincerely appreciate it.
