I have a 2002 suburban and my friend has a 2000 silverado we have the same issue with our seats. His passenger seat feels like you will fall out any minute and my driver seat is starting to get this way also. A local mechanic told us this is a fairly common issue with the seat tracks on all GM trucks and the only solution is to replace the whole seat and track assembly.
Supposedly there is some kind of plastic bushing or spacer that is not avialble as a part itself and thus "requires" replacement of the whole assembly. Anyone have a fix for this. I here it is a common problem with the F/S G.M. trucks
