I was just comparing the kitchen to the TVAN, but there is a lot I like about your design.

Are you planning on a molded fiberglass shell or building out of laminate panels?

Are you bringing the camper to Blue Ridge Overland's RTT gathering? That's not far from me, might pop out to take a look.

I remember the first time we saw a TVAN and I have been in love with them ever since. We will utilize a mold for the roof and panels for the walls and floor. Yes, we will be at Blue Ridge Overland's RTT gathering.

I like the looks of this camper. Hopefully it progresses to manufacture stage.

I’d prefer the camper not have a privy and cooking facilities inside. I am happy to walk to outhouse or make cat hole.

Maybe model variants could be offered without certain features.

a "shell" model like FWC does with their slide-ins.

That may be an option at some point, being a small start-up might make that difficult to do at first, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for the pics of the interior. Nice layout. I'd love to build something like this. Any chance of selling plans?

Thanks for your comment. At this moment we have no intention of selling plans for the build. We are focused on finishing the design for the production model and building the first one. Thanks.

Greetings Brad and Julie! Welcome to the Expedition Portal!

We spent a good bit of time with Brad and Julie at Expo West. Very nice people, with very innovative ideas. From everything they said to us, they are committed to building a very high quality product. I'm looking forward to seeing how this progresses!

David and Aimee, It was great meeting you both as well. Yes, we are committed to producing a high quality product. We are working diligently on prototyping and testing plus extensively 3D modelling the production model.

Any idea of the price point you are shooting for?

We are still developing this. There are a lot of factors to consider from the price of components to time it takes to manufacture and other overheads. As we develop the production model all these variables will become more apparent and we will be able to release these details publicly. But as a comparison the wombat has the features and cool factor of an Airstream Basecamp plus the ruggedness of a true offroader. It is also fully hard-sided so our goal is to be a true 4 season camper. The wombat is also extremely quick to set-up and pack-up.

I see you said that you are going to have a fiberglass roof. What is your plan for wall materials/construction?

Firstly, Awesome Trailer! I have watched some of your videos.

The wall materials will be a 2" sandwich panel with a fibergalss skin and a closed cell core. For our prototype we used the hand layup technique which was very time consuming.
