Wrangler "completely new in 2017"

Like the price of bumpers? Holy cow are they expensive, $2000 for a piece of metal to bolt to the front end.....sheesh!

This makes me think that someone is going to get rich designing a solid axle conversion for new jeeps if jeep decides to go with independent suspension in the future.

The solid axle should be an option from the factory still IMO.

What is more important to you, the Wrangler crowd? Would you rather have a diesel or solid axles F/R? What if Jeep builds a Wrangler with a diesel and IFS/IRS?

Diesel. Axle's are fairly easy to change out. With the engine you have to worry about emission tests, cpu compatibility, and how it all connects to the stock electrical system.
