Depending on how the Grand Wagoneer turns out, I told the girlfriend that's what we'll get her. Good to know I've got some time for that though!

I'm very wary of my JK's ebrake. Check twice, thrice before getting out... pull it up as high as I can.

I have an 09 and have the same problem. The dealer "fixed" it , but after about a year later it worn out again. These seem like an ongoing issue and all years of JK's seem to have " week" ebrake.

I predict aluminum body on frame, solid axles, Diesel engine/small displacement turbo gas engines, similar size, improved safety features for collisions

A "complete redesign" of the Wrangler could make the long-rumored pickup version a reality. Would you prefer a J8-style two door with integrated bed, or the AEV four door style pickup?

In the power plant department, maybe North America will finally get a diesel option. Would you prefer the V6 diesel used in the Grand Cherokee, or the four cylinder diesel used in Jeep export models? Or would a smaller turbo gas engine, similar to Ford's Ecoboost models, be a better choice? Ford's 2.3L turbo 4 produces more power and torque at lower rpm than the gas V6 in today's Wrangler.
Torque. Gimme gimme gimme. Want to tow better, have better range.
A light torquey engine. Diesel or gas; I don't care. Just want 400 miles/tank, 300+ while towing.
35s standard. Thin 35s.
7-pin class 3 trailer for tow package.
JW Speaker LED headlights.

De-farkle package. I didn't want auto-dimming mirrors. Power locks are a nice convenience but they, and the windows, aren't really needed.

Gimme an interior I can hose out. No carpet; just rubber matting. And seats covered in ballistic material.

Gimme places to mount my junk. Recovery gear, cb. Cabinets and boxes. Take a lesson from the aftermarket.

"-- A new model, smaller than the Cherokee and larger than the Renegade, will be introduced in 2016"

I forgot to mention that this new vehicle will replace the Patriot and Compass.

Jeep wants to double its production by 2018. This will mean more production facilities outside USA. Fiat has capacity in Italy and elsewhere in Europe. maybe this will be how Jeep will build the replacement for the Patriot/Compass. the Renegade is already built in Italy. I expect Jeep's production in China will also expand.

Hey ---- think the Grand Wagoneer will be on a Massif frame? With their diesel options?

Really?
I never use the e-brake in any car.
I just leave it in first.

I have a manual transmission and leave it in neutral with parking break pulled up and have never had any issue with it. 2 years running now. No matter where I park I do this. Where I get in trouble is when the wife drives it and leaves it in park I like to hop the Jeep since I am not paying attention to it in 1st gear LOL!

Not a good method...always leave it in gear.

the wagoneer will prob be built on the durango chassis with a base price of $40k (just speculating, but im prob accurate). with the IFS, just makes it less appealing to me, i miss the SFA

the newesr facelift of the WK2 looks ridiculous... dont know if ill be a jeep owner whenever i sell my WK. Toyota will mostlikely get my business.

unless they redo the pricing on the cherokee... priced a TH cherokee- loaded $42k, they can pound sand for that.

That's the perfect description of a Land Rover Defender. Too bad they are going out of production.
