Wrangler gets a 2.8 VM engine

Found this install while looking at the 2.8 VM engine.

Yeah, I've seen that one, and the one the Jeep guys did for EJS last year.

Sadly, it still really hard to get that engine.

Also heard from AEV, sounds like the J8 2.8s are only being sold for J8s. Hope I interpreted that wrong, but I guess we'll find out in a few.

Having a 2005 or 2006 LJ Wrangler with the 2.8 VM or 2.8 International is the dream platform for an 'Expedition Light' vehicle for me!

I've been trying to find a powerplant like that for a LONG time

The only 2 suitable that are any where near available are the 2 2.8s.

Neither are 'easily' available though

Leaning towards a full J8 build now though.. just got to figure out how to pay for it

but you also have to consider that i paid about TWICE the price of a gas-wrangler in the states!!!
with the exchange rate at the time of purchase it was almost 50 grandunk03:

From what I could tell, they may have had the white LJ (Dave's 2.8 project) and a few of the J8s running the 2.8s
