Holy Horsepower!

I had the knock sensor replaced yesterday by a mechanic friend of mine, and I'm really happy I did. Since everything was apart, I took the opportunity to replace the plugs (NGK Laser Platinums) and the plug wires (NGKs). I am really happy we did that too, because the plugs, by the look of them, are the ones that the truck drove off the assembly line with. No wonder it idled a little choppy!

It idles smooth as silk now, very happy. All of my power has returned as well, which is a big plus. The best part, though, is that I can drive around without watching my fuel gauge needle move constantly. We'll see what my mileage is one I go through this tank.

Very pleased :)

Glad to hear! Been so cold here lately I don't even want to check my mileage....

I feel like out of the Nissan folks, you two, Co-Opski and myself are the only ones dealing with cold/snow haha. Highs today were 33 and we got 4 inches of snow two days ago and supposed to get another 10" on Friday. The pathfinder is luckily getting good mileage still (last tank was 18.7 with no highway).

Haha don't forget Co-Opski up in AK. I'm sure he's noticed winter.

I wanted to do a two week western trip next year, this might fit in nicely.

How far away is it for you ?

It's a little over 1,000 miles, but I was planning on taking a scenic route through CO on the way, even though it's way out of the way, and then UT (read: Moab) on the way back up.

I was just looking at it. It's about 2200 miles each way. I would take two weeks and do the same thing, Colorado for sure and Utah would also be awesome
