I was just looking at it. It's about 2200 miles each way. I would take two weeks and do the same thing, Colorado for sure and Utah would also be awesome
Well there ya go! I'd love to caravan down there.

We could start by spending a night camped in the Beartooths just south of me, and head down through the Beartooth Pass (gorgeous drive) and Yellowstone on the way through WY to CO. Pretty cool way to start the trip and beautiful country.
That could work too. I'm up for pretty much anything.
Love the Great Lakes territory. Family is originally from MN. I've spent a lot of time around Lake Superior.
Time is on our side!
I've never been to the Norther superior side, Ontario is a massive province. Its actually faster for me to drive to Florida than to the Manitoba border....
Oh man!!! Well this has officially become my plan! OX via Colorado on the way down, and GONEMoab on the way back up! You in Kyle? For 2015.
Definitely! I can make it happen! Thankfully its in May which works well with the guard. Im in! Okay Tom just let know where a good meet-up point would be and Im good to go. Is there a website to signup for this kind of thing or is it like a tailgate party where everyone just shows up? I have to make sure I finish my front winch bumper before then and bigger tires and ill be set. This is actually pretty exciting!
GONEMoab is $75 per person, driver or passenger. That covers everything. You have to register at gonemoab.com.
OX can get pretty spendy. I'm going to do an "experience" pass (money permitting), where I can take classes and go on the driving course if I want to. An experience pass is around $270. I think Beret will get day passes for all 3 days, which is $35. Day passes will let you do everything except take classes. The experience pass includes a camp site. If you don't get an experience pass, campsites are $10/day.
I'm pretty jacked about it now. I'll have a new front bumper, a rear bumper, winch, and sliders by then I hope.
GoneMOAB is definitely a green light and the lady wants to run the green trails (that's okay as it will be totally new terrain for us) thanks for that info. Is there a site for OX? is that Overland Expo? I have not heard of it before so a site would be great. Fortunately I think there are tent camping places nearby so we don't have to waste money on a hotel.
Hey Mike, one of these days ill be heading up to canada since my gf wants to go international. If we go, could you point us in the right direction for good views? As a side note, if you and Tom convoyed down and i jumped in whenever that happens... Itll be an xterra, frontier, pathfinder. That would make a stellar photo!
Sorry for the hijack!
