WTB LR3

Looking for a decent LR3 for my wife to drive.
Some mods ok.
Her only request is heated seats and 3rd row seats.
I’m located in Kentucky but will travel.

Also does anyone know of any used car lots that tend to keep rovers and might possibly have some available I should take a look at?

maybe try asking on discoweb and d-90 source; those occasionally get posted for sale there

I’m actually really considering one they have listed but I haven’t had much luck getting more info from the owner. Do you have any personal experience with this company?

Only in as much as I bought a Disco from them around 2016 or so. They were all Russian and the place is in the woods in South West NJ. My truck was solid… They always picked up the phone when I would call but I haven’t been back since.

I have inquired about the tonga green LR3 they have on their website. Actually pulled a Carfax for it and called the shop that did most of the maintenance. The shop owner was very helpful and said the previous owner did maintenance as required but not preventative maintenance. He said it does need a transmission service whoever buys it next. It looks to be pretty clean and lower mileage.

Awesome information. That’s the truck I’m looking at as well. When I was able to get Mike on the phone he didn’t seem to interested in getting me the carfax or take a couple videos. I might try him again towards the end of the week if I can’t find anything closer to me.

I asked about if they had serviced the transmission since it wasn't in any of the records and they claimed that the LR3 doesn't require the transmission fluid/filter to be changed. I sent him the link to the kit from Atlantic British and don't think I ever got a response. I should still have the carfax on my phone if you can't get it from him.

The roof looks like all the paint is gone but the photos aren't clear on the condition. To me that's someone trying to hide something obvious. I feel that if they try to hide the obvious then they would definitely try to hid mechanical issues. I just didn't feel good about it so I decided against it. Gotta trust that gut. haha

I’ll have to take a closer look at the roof tonight, I didn’t notice that. Like you said it’s really hard to tell the true condition just on the pictures.
