WTB: Scepter Viton Gaskets

He is reliable. I've sent about 50 people his way after buying some for myself.

Excellent.

For anyone wondering, if you have a surplus Scepter MFC it most likely has a black rubber gasket for diesel. It will work for gasoline, but in time the gas will cause the rubber to swell, breaking the plastic retaining ring off in the center of the cap causing the gasket to continually fall off when opened.

The gray Viton gaskets do not swell when exposed to gas, and this is what Scepter put on at the factory for gas cans vice diesel.

And those replacement flanges are nearly the same cost as a complete cap assembly, which is the same price or more than many are paying for their surplus cans

Swap them now before you have to try and hunt down a flange or cap :D
