Riverfever, you might want to weld a small post on for the base of the jack to help with stability. Otherwise, looking good.

Whew. I finished it up today. That was really hard work. Here's some pics:
I used quarter inch rod to keep the base from going anywhere.
I'm pretty happy about how it turned out for a first welding project. It needs paint now. I just hope it doesn't fall apart because of my shotty welding skills.
