$295 shipped!!!
SOLD!

upgrading my 7900R for an 8800R, so it's now for sale! One of the best rated mobile radios you can find for your truck. Going to miss the back-lit buttons this radio offers. :(

wiring harness, mic & mounting bracket from the 8800R are the same, so you'll get these included accessories brand new. Also including the programing software w/USB cable, as it is not compatible w/the 8800R. Additionally, you'll receive brand new cables w/the remote separation kit. I'm just going to re-use the ones I bought originally and provide you with the new ones in the remote separation kit for the 8800R. I verified these cables are compatible w/both radios. :) The manual, CD & USB prog cable are not shown, but they will be included.

head unit was installed in the headliner. So, some epoxy residue can still be seen. If you use the remote separation kit like I did, however, this shouldn't be a problem. Just something to be aware of. I did my best to show you what it looks like in these pictures...

Dang, this is on my list but well down from many other things I need for my DI-nice radio, wish it was about 4 months later.

Good luck selling this thing quick. But if it hasn't sold by the week of Christmas I may be very interested in seeing what we can work out. I'll be in OKC that week and am wanting to get a radio for my Jeep. I'll be taking my technician test within the next month so I can be all legal and stuff...

Good luck on the sale, Ryan. Maybe now that you have an 8800R you can help me figure out mine! :sombrero:

Guambomb, it would be great to have you running 2M on our next outing. I can assure you that it will be worth it. 1000% better than CB.

String?

Bomar, you know that one cannot keep Mr Leary on the end of a string! He'll just head for that water hole, and pull you in, or break the string, one.

Oh, man, once you're around these guys, you're ruint. (I learned that word in Arkansas.)

Sorry, RSB, this is supposed to be a for sale thread, but we all have this problem, you see.

Good luck on the sale. (And I checked my bag to make sure that my VX6 was still there. I guess you picked yours up somewhere else.)

I saw how useful it was on our last trip and decided I had to have one. The next time I hear "This is Mike, ......I'm stuck in the mud hole", it should come in crystal clear. BTW, what was that website you used to study for your license?

Ryan, is the Space Shuttle included? :sombrero:
