On the Yaesu 8800, does anybody know how to copy the same frequencies between the left band to the right band and vice versa? I dont want to have to go through and program 100+ channels for each side.

Are you using the FTB8800 software for programming?

Click on the left column to highlight the whole bank. Then, Memories>Copy(and memories), click on the other left column bank, Memories>Paste memories.
Ta-da all the left bank in the right bank. You can copy and paste individual frequencies this way too.

I havent tried the software yet. Wondering if there was a way without the software.

Also, I am getting feedback in one of my speakers when I key out. Anyway of fixing this? It is only in one speaker and it isnt the external speaker connected to the Yaesu.

That software makes programming a pleasure. G4HFQ is a top notch guy too! That will be the only way to copy all the frequencies from one side to the other.
I picked up my programming cables from http://ttl2usb.com/
If you have a hundred frequencies all input by keypad into the radio, you have WAY more patience than I.

I am not going to be much help on your feedback issue. Good grounds. Power and ground run to the battery and an inline power filter on the line. Antenna coax without loops and run away from the power wires. That works for me.

I am gonna go back and check all of the wiring and make sure it is good to go. Thanks for the help.
