Yaesu VX 170 $100

I was looking for a Yaesu VX170 recently and found one for $100. I emailed the seller but before he returned my email I bought an Icom V8 as a back up radio. I told the seller I would pass it on to those who may be interested.

I already have one but wanted a back up or one for another user to have on trips. I ended up getting a good deal on a ICOM V8 which should be just fine.

Is there a place IN the USA to buy these? I just looked it up on e-bay everyine forsale was in HongKong and they wanted 51.00 to ship it!!

Go for it, I'm out. I can get the same close to home with a warranty, without the border hassles for a few more bucks. I'd be all over it if it was in my town.

That stinks. He told me $100. $210 is not such a great deal for a VX170 even with the extras.

Sorry for the misinformation. Maybe someone can talk him down?

BTW, I found lots of good deals on ICOM and Yaesu handhelds on ebay and www.qrz.com
A day of searching can yield some fantastic deals.
