Just read you're whole thread.. I appreciate your problem solving & fixer attitude.. I'm only 15 months into my build & I definetly going to "borrow" some of your solutions.. I as well have a 7.3 eco.. mine's 4x4 manual tranny on 37's... I painted the logo black on my rhinos... I'm presently working on a design to mount my 37x13.5 spare tire in the original spare tire well...
Cheers

Oh, that looks so good!! Part of my reason to stay with a small tire sizes we regularly tow and we just got back from being a checkpoint for the 24 hours at Hinton West Virginia. And she got in astounding 11 mile of the gallon going up some of the near vertical state roads near Beckley

Getting ready to redo the interior with a sports mobile style gaucho bed and a lot more cabinets on both sides floor ceiling. Now that the kids have gotten older and we have a cargo camper when they want to go with me it’s time for dad to renovate the inside!! it worked great for eight years but now I rarely home more than four people and rarely do I sleep more than three

The upper bunk is going to stay in so it’ll have a single bed downstairs and still have the almost full size upstairs

Lots of room for activities. I want to put a shower inside when the pop top is up. I can get clean and also haul my ebike inside so that I can travel without having to worry about my ebike getting stolen or being outside and bad weather

Some progress pictures.
I still have a ton of trim work to finish and touchup the polyurethane

Decided I wanted to make some changes. We built this interior almost 7 years ago
Since then, we’ve had some changes in our camping setups and I wanted some thing that was less set up time and also allowed me to have an indoor bathroom when the top is up and haul the mountain bikes inside so we didn’t have to worry about them being messed with a carrier if we were in town traveling

Massive amount of storage somehow gained more floor space?!?
All the electrical stuff is underneath the 6 foot long couch that still needs the flip down backrest added which will add us 6 inch extension to the bed Exped Megamat if I want a little more padding.
The diesel furnace and the factory rear heat and air conditioning are going to get ductwork to dump it into the isleway

The design still allows us to haul almost 14 foot long materials .. seat seven with seatbelts and USB plugs..

The fridge be accessible, even with the door closed. I’m gonna put a double slide in that slides into the highway and slides out the back door… some of our rough measurements ended up getting me two different spice racks right over the hook. Space

All the wiring was pulled before the cabinets went in and still looking around to see what kind of flooring I want to put in the back, it was recommended I make something that’s easy to pull out and rinse off..

But wanted to share what the last 2 weeks have been.. big push this weekend with help from the minions and friends.. I’m not a very good carpenter…

New couch folding backrest / extender made and installed!!

Works PERFECT!!

I’ve gotta finish up the trim on that wall behind the couch and then a little bit behind the fridge slide. Mount the 3 seatbelts. Wire up the DCC controller and power to the amplifier that now snuggled in behind the drivers pointed at the chair base!!
