Awesome rig! I didn't realize FlipPac made a camper for our trucks. How much does your rig weigh when unloaded/loaded?
No idea and I don't want to know. She's a pig!

Your social distancing is much, much better than mine.
Yeah, it was weird not seeing a single person for two days! But the main section of the valley was packed, left that section as soon as I was done with the main POI.

New truck mask! Top filter was installed in 2015... Snorkel pre-filter does an amazing job at keeping larger debris out of the air box. Pretty much only deposits from smoke and smog ? Probably didn't even need to replace, but I got nothing better to do right now. Totally worth all the weird questions people ask ?

Also keeping occupied with cheap mini taco mods! I swapped out the worn out banged-up decals on my wheels and replaced them with navigation app arrows! ?⛰?? I got hey small kick out of it. I'll never get lost again! Feel like you could play spin the wheel or wheel of Fortune now

Swapped out the double stacked and cut in half lugs nonsense on the back end. Luckily axle has 1/2" x 3" studs pleny of beef and thread. Swapped in one sold spacer with extended open ended lug nuts. Now using all available thread to hold the wheels on, about 10mm extra per lug, so an extra 60mm of contact per wheel! One less thing to worry about in the back of my head.

Have some new shock sliders ready to go on the back end!

After a few outings I realized the truck needed a slight bump in spring rate, so a quick trip to the Truck Shop and they got them swapped in quick along with my AGM sliders. I was back on the road shortly after!

This is not something I can do at home anymore with my bottle jack!!

Truck now sits level, even with a good amount of gear, so far so good!
Uppers:

Upgrading my solar on my newish to me camper to a proper solar setup.

New controller, circuit breaker and two 100w (tested @ 11 Amps, 20v, so 200-220w in full sun) panels.

Flexible panels going on the roof of the Flip-Pac! Yes will only work with camper closed, but camper is really only open at night so yea.Screenshot_2021-05-24-20-01-07-1[1].png

Needed something quick, cheap and easy for a near term shade solution.

With a heatwave coming, a handful of braincells, and $19 at Walmart I came up with this. Not an original idea but works great! Have some actual awnings on my wishlist but this will work for now. Heck I could toss a few more on in other locations, and you can take it with you!

No setup time and packs down easy, shovel mount is paying off!20210611_193219.jpg20210611_193315.jpg20210611_193336.jpg

So... I found that one worked really well. Decided to blow through my budget and pick up another! $40 in the hole. ?

So cheap! Goes up or packs down in seconds, in the bag less space than a camp chair, almost zero weight, no vehicle drag, also portable...

Seriously I should have done this as soon as I got the swing-out, they also make it slightly adjustable along with the tilt itself.
