Zodi Extreme. No longer being produced?

With the Zodi Extreme I'd recommend replacing the shower head with one with an on/off thumb activated switch and throwing away the heater unit that comes with it.

Good things about it are it's stainless steel, can go right on the stove to heat the water up, has a temperature strip showing the heat of the water, 3 gallon capacity, seems to be indestructible.

I hadn't heard that about the heater unit. Does it not heat fast enough or what?

Ace-hardware sprayer

I,like many of my co-hearted campers, have went with the pressurized bug sprayer route. $20.00 for Ace's best sprayer. Fill it with about a gallon of water and fire up your stove or just place the thing on your campfire. heat the water, warm to touch. (Used it for several years this way and never have burnt the paint off yet-says something) I use my hand-held laser thermometer to check the water temp. Pump it up about 20 strokes and spray yourself down. soap up and rinse. light and easy to carry. It holds 3 gallons and it really lasts, Economical use of water resources. Multi-purpose tool. Good stuff. Some change the nozzles to something other then stock...it's a matter of taste I suppose, but the orginal works well, just a little long.

I like this. I may have to just do the bug sprayer.

Zodi extreme...

Bought a demo unit for $70...I love using it. Heats up in a few minutes...There is something to be said about a hot shower in the boonies...

update

As an update, I bought this SS sprayer

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009GVN74/ref=oss_product"]Amazon.com: Hudson 97292 Commercial 2 Gallon Sprayer Stainless Steel: Patio, Lawn & Garden[/ame]

Removed the torch-looking sprayer, added some 3/8" ID hose and a kitchen sink sprayer. I just put it all together and it appears to work great. (I used it to rinse off my sliders before repainting) For shower use, I will try heating it on my Coleman 2 burner stove. I won't add a thermometer, unless water temp becomes a problem to us.

Bad news is that I didn't save myself a ton of money, but it was fun sourcing parts and putting it together.

Do you think you could get away with a 1 gallon pump sprayer for a shower or not enough water.

Going by what I experienced when washing my sliders, I'd say 2 gal. is perfect for one shower. (I'm a glamper:)) 1 gal wouldn't be enough for me, but 3 gal would take longer to heat. I can give you another update once I've actually used it for a shower.

I noticed the same thing a few weeks ago, all sites said they were out of stock. I stopped by sports chalet to pick up some new shock cord, and they had 5 or 6 of them sitting right there.

Corey, that shower head mod is getting done to mine this weekend, looks great. Thanks for the videos.
