Not to highjack this thread...It doesn't matter what Element you have. Ursa Minor can cut a sunroof into it when they add the pop top. The only thing I would suggest is to not use an SC Element. If I remember correctly, it sits 1 inch lower to the ground giving you only 5 inches of ground...

Yep, someone would do this. I would look on care.com for a nanny by placing an ad. Most of the people on there are background checked & have references.

My favorite is my travel spice kit from World Market. It is always great to spice things up when packing the basics. It always comes in handy especially when camping in groups. The last trip out we turned fresh pineapple into a dessert with ginger & cinnamon on the grill.

Our WRX is an 2012 hatchback just like the photo, but dark grey. If I could get any car/truck/van after thinking about this a bit more...I would love a new VW T2 for camping with the kiddo or a syncro.

Anyone have pictures of the top painted to match with slider windows? Just wondering the pro's and con's between leaving the sides black or have it painted to match. Maybe what is easier to clean or most scratch resistant. And I just saw this top online for sale, but too far away for me...

Are there any other install instructions beside a connector pin and bolts? I thought I read something about some weather stripping going across the front windshield? Does anyone have a video of an install? Just wonder how hard it would be to put on with or without a lift. I wouldn't want it...

How much taller do you think it opens now? Wondering if wind would catch it more. I do like the idea of being able to sit up in the top more than just laying crouched over. I see the adjustable rails for the roof rack are still available too. Very nice.

I have a 2011 Element too. That was the last year they were made. After 3 days of ownership, I sadly realized the Element just wasn't going to do what I wanted it to do. I had planned on getting the Ecamper, but cancelled the order due to the low payload~only 675 lbs. And that gets maxed out...

Everyone has different needs and wants. Affordablity and durabilty is my focus. The less complicated, the better for me. Passed on the 2012 due to the head issue. Now that the 2014's are almost here, I just wondered if it is worth it to wait or try to get a good deal on a 2013.
