    Shortbusadventure's Tiger Motorhome build

I like your choice of the bumper. I have had my eye on this for sometime for my Tiiger. Hope to have it installed on my Ford Tiger before I head to Alaska after retirement in two years. I just completed adding Firestone Ride Rites and am quite pleased with them. We have some serious frost...

    Yaesu HAM radio opinions?

Something I don't think everyone considers: The Yaesu 1900 has a fan for cooling. Not a problem in the average vehicle or on the desk at home. But, when you do what we do, there can be a significant amount of dust. The cooling fan will draw this dust into the radio's case. Currently the...

Has anyone ever built up a tiger?

I own the Ford F-350 Tiger that someone posted a picture of earlier in this thread. Since I am out a lot in colder months I added electric waste tank heaters. I also opted for a 130 watt solar panel on the roof as I am, more often than not, off the grid. I am currently in the process of...

CB Install in 2008 Ford F-350 XLT

I had seen this. Nice installation. I was just hoping that someone had first-hand experience with the XLT. I will have no trouble figuring it out, I'm sure. I just hate re-inventing the wheel when I don't have too.

CB Install in 2008 Ford F-350 XLT

I have a 2008 Ford F-350 XLT that I want to install a CB radio in. My experience with this is limited and I keep drawing a blank on internet searches. In the dashboard is a section below the radio where there is a slot and a coin holder. It appears that this whole section is removable. Does...

Jim, What tires are you running on your Tiger. I am not very impressed the stock Continentals on my Ford. Alan

    Tiger Class "C" Extreme Motorhome

No rear seat, but the couch is set up for two passengers. The company, Provan, that builds these will work with you a bit on mods. A person recently had a third seat added behind the passenger seat. Lots of photos of other Tigers can be seen at the Tiger group on Yahoo.

    Tiger Class "C" Extreme Motorhome

I can't compare my Tiger to a Sportsmoblie as I have never seen one up close. I can say I am quite pleased with my Tiger's interior. Here's a few interior photos.

    The "Expedition hat" thread

Akubra Hats If you like the Safari hat shown earlier in this thread, you might find the Australian Akubra line to your liking. I bought the Akubra "Cattleman" for an African hunting safari. It's a fairly wide-brimmed as I do not like to have a lot of sun on my neck and face. I had been...
