The T100 does have slots in the bed for 2x boards.
Cool alternator upgrade, good to know for the future if I ever need to go that route. $400 seems a bit steep, but sounds like a solid product.
The DC clamp on amp meter. Just have some questions about it and if I really need one.
Assuming...
I like to do rear if only one pair. Or all four is best. Only use them offroad, never needed them on the road. I bought them on craigslist. There are a ton out there but harder to find some for the bigger tires. I paid $50 for one set and $30 for the other set.
Cool. You got a nice list of upgrades planned. I've had my T100 for two years now and love it. My first truck and loving the offroading aspect of it. Conveniently located in the heart of the rocky mountains gives me plenty of places to go.
1) I've been wanting a locker but big $$. Kinda want to...
i thought i heard somewhere that the old school steel wheels are actually pretty weak. They appear that the spokes are just flat. Newer steel wheels have the cut out in the spoke with a slight "flange" or the steel bends into the inside of the wheel instead of just being flat. This makes the...
very cool, 4 wheeling in comfort for the whole family.
I feel your pain. Finding aftermarket parts for my original Tundra/T100 is next to impossible. IMO, just an opportunity to get creative and make your own parts.:)
so what exactly did you do with the lights?
I could use better lighting on my truck. Are these just different light bulbs or did you actually install a full HID system with ballast and all?
Also did you mean 6000K? 600K seems really low.
read that wrong, scratching my head. Guess a heated steering wheel in Cali isn't needed.:)
agree, you have to be comfy. especially when you spend extensive time in a vehicle.
what exactly is the fun factor with having parking sensors? I like the back up cams better, seems more useful?
Cooled seats are nice. heated steering wheel? those are handy
yup, best and most used upgrade i've made to the truck. other than tires:)
they weren't too hard to install. couple brackets and little wiring. the power seat part was easy, self contained controls. the heated seat part is being a PITA. Can't get the BMW controller to communicate with the...
Tripod and turning up the exposure time. Can be tricky, time consuming and a bit of trial and error.
The T100 looks good. Definetelly looks like some fine craftsmanship.
The seats are from a 2004 BMW 3 series, sport seats. My friend tells me very similar to his M3 seats. From a european junkyard in Denver. Paid $300 for the pair.
They don't fold forward since they came from a 4 door, so getting in the back is tough (usually don't carry more than 1 person)...
Just joined this forum and this seemed a good thread to introduce myself. Some real good looking trucks in this thread. Been on Toyota Nation for the past year. Great forum, but this place seems oriented at the direction I want to take my truck.
I've had my T100 for a little over a year now...
