I am building a rooftop tent (wedge shaped)
I originally planned it with 1515 T slots and cost was too much.
Now I have found unistrut which is cheaper
Here is what it will look like
This kind of builds on a similar thread I saw, but executed in a very different way.
The requirement is to have a RTT which adds no more than 6" in height but can sleep 3 people (so 62-63" width atleast). That does not exist. The Falcon XL is 57" wide and so are all other "4 person" tents. They...
Wow this is quite an old thread. I am having similar ideas now, after not finding a proper 3 person RTT which adds less than 6" height to the truck. The main motivation is keeping height low.
This is the idea I am thinking about
buy a couple of these
Connect them with heavy duty commercial...
Super old thread! But I will revive it. I am looking for flatbed microwaves,i.e. no turntable
The best I have been able to find this ->
Its 0.8 cu feet, and 1000W. i am wondering if there are similar 800W models (with around 1100W nominal power consumption rather than 1500W)
Looks like the thinnest tent with 60" + width is the Freespirit tent.
its 10.5" height and king size bed. Not wedge, but foldout, but still slim.
Then at 10" and king size is the OVS Bushweld

I want to locate the weboost antenna to the front fender, however most brackets I find are for Tacomas or Lexus. Does any clamp/bracket exist for the 2022+ Tundra with an antenna mount?
most full size trucks are atleast 75 inches wide, pushing to 80 inches for others. However, the widest sleeping platform I could find was falcon XL at 57". Is there a company which makes a slim wedge tent which is atleast 65" sleeping area (overall width would be 68" still about 7" narrower than...
I'm planning to buy the TB31 from Equipt. At 450$ with free shipping it comes to same as Truckfridge (399+50).
I wanted to know, if I buy from Equipt, what is the length of the AC and the DC power cords. If its very short, I will get an extension cord for the front power socket.
A few years ago, I wrote this article about offroad GPS navigation. I know its old, but most of the information is still relevant, and the software I walk about still exist and do quite well.

I run Aurora 200W 20". I used to sell them a short while ago. Really good narrow beam with 5500K light, not bluish at all.
The price is also very good.
Before that I had Oledone 60W ovals, but they had a bit too much spread for my taste.
