Having it serviced at the dealership in Centerville is a good thing, their techs that have built and owned many Disco's and are a great knowledge resource

    Oil pump issues with 2003...

How dirty is the oil/was the oil? It could be possible that you have a plugged oil pickup in your oil pan.

RE-introduction, back in a Land Rover again

Well, last night I replaced the radiator with a new OEM part. That was a super simple job, took me about an hour from the time I pulled it onto the rack until I was pulling out of the shop. So nice to have a non-leaking cooling system! Hopefully now it will be just driving it for a while...

i'm missing a very large part...

I don't believe this is the case with his concern, the P38 doesn't have a user selectable center diff lock like on the early Rangie's and Series 1 Disco's

i'm missing a very large part...

Not on a P38... the viscous coupler will allow you to drive it short distances without much fuss

RE-introduction, back in a Land Rover again

RE-introduction, back in a Land Rover again

Well, so far this P38 is giving me headaches, the abs accumulator is worn out, two cracked coolant hoses and now a leaking radiator. All will be replaced this week, hopefully it's the end of repairs for a month or so
