Is it mandatory to keep the rear bench seat? Might be able to gain some extra functional space by re-doing the interior as far as seats and console space, etc. But hell...me saying that is like a burger chef trying to tell Gordon Ramsay how to prepare an omelet.

I have read every single post thus far in this thread, with rapt attention and baited breath! Kudos to the both of you for you adventurous spirits! I can only imagine how free and terrified and excited and nervous you must feel to pack up your vehicle, wave goodbye to it, and not worry to death...

I only JUST stumbled across your amazing story! I was thrilled from the start, and pretty much stayed up the entire night reading all 85 pages of comments! (don't judge me...) What brave and adventurous souls you both have, F&J! Masterful story-telling, definitely put a personal flair to it...
