Well.. I'm finally back on, Had to move back to Dallas, get out of the navy, get set up with the new job and new apartment and what not, that took forever. I will have more updates on the Jeep coming soon!
:xxrotflma The ExPo is to blame to date for about $3000 worth of purchases! Aiie.. Just.. can't.. stop..
Welcome to the ExPo! And just remember, a jeep really isn't a J E E P until you Just Empty Every Pocket :safari-rig:
I've seen and driven the Rhino's and they are pretty cool IMO.. and in theory seem like a pretty good exploration tool from a "base camp" setting. But for some reason to me it seems like the only way that would really be worth it is if your main ExPo vehicle is something that can't really...
Looks pretty clean, although I can't say I'm a huge fan of trailers to begin with. I don't know.. maybe I'm being too judgemental but it really doesn't seem like there is enough "trailer" there to warrant a $3000 price tag?.. :1888fbbd:
Actually, there are a lot of people who support getting one, IF it's installed properly and you at LEAST waterproof your electronics as best you can. But like it's been said around here a 100 times, it's all about what makes YOU more comfortable trailing in YOUR rig. :victory:
Honestly? ONCE. It was OVER the hood, crossing what I thought was a shallow water body in arizona that turned out to be a LITTLE deeper. Granted, I have done SOME waterproofing to the electronics, but nothing really that extensive. I don't have my exhaust extended or anything. It was about a...
To me, here is what it boils down to. . While it may over/underated depending on your point of view you still stand a better chance of making it through a deep water crossing WITH one than WITHOUT.
I look at my snorkel like I do my gun, id rather have and not need it, than need it and not have...
This probably won't help you much but if worse comes to worse learn all you can now and you know what? When you turn 18 and move out you can do what you want and buy what you want. Long story short that's what I had to do and how I had to learn. If it comes down to it, trust me, you will...
Ty very much! I really like it but be careful with TNT, I had a really bad experience with them. I would just advise letting them know upfront EXACTLY what your expectations are on service, delivery, and what not.. If they can't meet it, I would definately suggest working with someone else...
Just an update on my build.. Got the light bar and four baja lights installed.. So including my headlights and two front hellas, i'm up to eight, woo hoo!
Lol, good point. For some reason though I felt like I was thrust into a kung **** movie with the knives and fists thing.. I have a paranoid fear of ninjas. :yikes:
Just curious, if propane is non-toxic, why on the little green coleman propane cans, on the warning label, does it say that it is fatal to ingest or breathe in? I just wanna know if the damn thing would kill me or not, haha.
