So it begins. Sprinter 4x4 build.

Rear bumper will be pretty straight forward. Receiver mount, shackle mounts and a tire/fuel carrier. Front bumper is a challenge to make it match the lines of the van and still function. Also putting a winch that we are trying to recess as much as possible. I don't want to modify the plastic to...

I can fit 3 panels on my roof.. but!

I'd mount some 2 pieces of aluminum angle from roof rack to roof rack to create a frame for the panels to sit in. Gives you flow underneath and mounts them rigidly. I hate drilling extra holes in roof.

I can fit 3 panels on my roof.. but!

I would make a simple aluminum bracket from roof rack to roof rack to mount the panels on. No holes in the roof and the panels are mounted solidly.

Advice, help with propane plumbing to various components please

Sounds like you need a manifold for distribution and then valves for the appliances you want to disconnect if you want to run something while another is disconnected. I simply have tees in my line to each appliance. I don't think I ever run them at the same time so flow isn't an issue.

What would you pay? (Tacoma question)

People pay cash for vehicles every day. I forgot the exact number but an every growing number of people buy their homes cash. Like over 30%. I think "nobody" is a strong statement in a world of 150k G wagons being purchased with cash. That truck is 40k any day around here. Financing or not.

    Air Off Road Trailer A.O.R.T.

My first trail trailer was an old compresser trailer. Worked pretty good, ultimately just wasn't big enough. They are tough though.

    All Aluminum ???

Aluminum trailers work just fine. Look around, they are everywhere. They are just more difficult to build correctly than a steel one. I have an aluminum trailer under a 10k boat, an aluminum snowmobile trailer, and have 2 53' semi trailer flatbeds for the company. Why pull more weight than you...

    Hood use for storage?

And the increase in rpm. A vehicle in neutral will burn more fuel at 3000 rpm vs 2000 rpm obviously.

Deflectors under the light, tint the top of windshield, possibly even matte paint or wrap your hood if reflecting off it as well.
