    Tool Development in Progress

Carl, Can you shed some light on what kind of product this will be? Sounds interesting and your site is very well done. Looking forward to see what you are coming up with.

Show us your Toyota 4runner, tacoma or truck.

I've been running the Cooper S/T MAXX for about 4th now. Love them. They have been excellent in mud, ice, streams, hiway, rain. I can honestly say I've never had a single issue with them. Still more than quarter of the tread left. Absolutely reliable in in every situation.

TundraBirds Go! Picture Thread for Tundras and T-100s

Hank, I've been running the St Maxx's for about 15k/6mos. Very happy with them. They have performed excellent in all conditions from mud, rock, slick river crossings, torrential downpours on the interstate at 80 mph, anything I have thrown at them. I was a little concerned about hydroplaning...

TundraBirds Go! Picture Thread for Tundras and T-100s

I have the Wheelers 3 leaf AAL and 5100's in the rear. I also have an ARE Tonneau. I am getting some pretty pronounced bouncing of the rear, usually precipitated by braking at speeds above 40. I cannot swear its the AAL, but that is my suspicion. More weight, along the lines of a camper, may...

TundraBirds Go! Picture Thread for Tundras and T-100s

Eview, thats nice. Clean, simple, functional. Lift attained from 5100's? Edit: No, that looks too tall for 5100's only. What are you using? - Chris

My first JK, my first new vehicle and well my first lemon...

Good lord. I think you may have captured the 'longest post in history' flag. Well done Sir. Sorry about your luck with it though, I'm a Toyota man myself. - Chris

    Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

If you have pre-loaded maps, you wont need cell towers. Purchasable maps for the tabs are just as good as garmin, etc. You may get a better gpa antenna on a dedicated gps device, though I haven't had any signal issues with my note or tab - Chris

    ExpoScout's 03 Tundra

Ive got a double cab(I have heard they have larger wheel wells) with 5100s at the top notch. Stock arms, 1.25" spidertraxx adapters, Coopet ST Maxx 285/75/17, 4.5" bs wheels. I had to cut and hammer the pinch weld to gain a couple of extra inches to alleviate the rubbing. Worked well. - Chris

    2004 Xterra start off

If its between a lift and tires, I would say get your lift on first and then decide on the tires. You will have more options on tire sizes once its lifted. What everyone else mentioned is good too, but at 19, maybe a little less exciting. At minimum, get a shovel, proper size come along, tow...

    Down sizing

On my last camping trip, it was only 2 of the 4 in my family. No pets, but with gear, food, toys, firewood,my truck was bursting. I knew we would need more room when the wife and other some come as well. So I bought a hitch mounted gear basket. I have not used it yet, but I can pack 6 medium...

Any pics of sliders on 1st Gen Tundras or other Toyotas?

Thanks Tundra05. I like those from Stubbs. How did you mount them? - Chris

Any pics of sliders on 1st Gen Tundras or other Toyotas?

Thanks Upcountry. Did you do those yourself? So, did you weld the legs to a plate that you then bolted to the frame using the factory holes? Brilliant! - Chris

Any pics of sliders on 1st Gen Tundras or other Toyotas?

I'm specifically interested in shots of how much yours stick out from the frame and how and where you mounted them. Thinking of building some and interested in any input. Spring has sprung! - Chris

Which wheel and tire set: Vote!

Is Cooper still selling the S/T? I thought it had been moved to the S/T Maxx? Regardless, that is what I am running in a 285/75/17 S/T Maxx. They have great road manners to me. They make a humble rumble rolling down the hiway, but I dont even notice it anymore. They have also proven perfectly...

    ExpoScout's 03 Tundra

Yep, nice find! For comparison, I paid $17.5 3 years ago. It has 64k on it at the time. It has 125k now and has not given me problem one. They are great trucks.

    Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

The tab comes in 7 & 10 inch tablets. The note is a 5.5" phone. All 3 have gps and function pretty much identically. The antenna on these are great and much better than my previous Samsung phone. Backcountry Navigator works great on my note and tab. - Chris
