    Disco 4.0 to 4.6 Conversion

I upgraded the 4.0 in my 97 D90 with 4.6 crank, rods, and pistons. Went with RPI cam as well, but it's the same block so no change to mounts, harness, etc. To get full performance out the mechanical changes, injectors and ECU changes are needed, but not required. Take a look on D90.com for a...

    Triple Aught Design

I have several packs and jackets - quality items. Like crack, this stuff. With their limited runs you have to pull the trigger quickly. Ebay is not a bad place to find items as well.

    RRC swing away tire carrier

Paul - Very sweet set-up all the way around and a fine design. I notice you have one of your coozies on a bottle of Maker's Mark. I didn't think they would fit, but will have to test that one myself. :) Mark

    Rover V8

No repeat failures, but 03, owned since new, with 121K, still running original radiator, head gasket done at 87K. No other cooling related issues. Rovertech = Brent?

ert01 - very nice design and install. It's funny what lengths we go to accomdate man's best friend in our trucks. Mark

    Post up your drawer/storage system

Like many I have pulled ideas/inspiration from this thread, so thought I'd post up my 'completed' system as a contribution to the thread. (we know it's never really done.) Requirements were pretty simple, flat deck to securely hold the crates for my dogs or peli cases, maximum use of the space...

    . . . one is never enough.

because.... a hydraulic line on the transporter ruptured... Congrats, Graham. I'm guessing this one is Connie's truck.

    110 ExMOD Defender

That's a nice way to put it, Scott. It's a 'relatively' new truck as well.

    110 ExMOD Defender

I saw the truck at the rally as well. Very very nice.

    Overland Journal: Discovery I, 5-speed

If you are running Prichard or Carnage, then you need sliders and bumpers to withstand the abuse of running that trail, which I believe is the 'standard' for many aftermarket rover vendors. (e.g. Rockware) If you are overlanding away from any kind of support, you will probably be more risk...

Post pictures of your Land Rover.

Kellymoe - I don't agree with your choice of terms. That's patina, not beat up. The 110 will be there one day. Funrover - "used" - it's my intent to try and wear this truck out over the coming years.

    Overland Journal: Discovery I, 5-speed

I'll throw one comment in the mix - I think there are many aftermarket components for Rovers that are over-built for overlanding. I love my Rockware bumpers on the 90 and 110 - well built indeed - but I don't need rockcrawling durability for my trucks. The ARB bumper will not take the abuse of...
