    WANTED- Sat phone

Just to make it clear, the Qualcomm system appears to be compromised so I would stay away from any of their phones. I believe that leaves Iridium and Inmarsat but I haven't fully researched it. Good luck!

    WANTED- Sat phone

WOW, I haven't had this phone active in a while and it seems things have changed. While I did have some problems in the past getting a phone call to go through, I never couldn't make a call, just had to wait for a bit or find a bigger hill. I just spoke with All Road Sat and they say that...

    Open letter to Mt Khakis

I own multiple MK pants/shorts and have been impressed with their wear patterns over the years. I don't think they are the most robust clothing on the market but I believe them to be the most comfortable of the heavy duty clothing lines and hence my choice most of the time. Have you...

    Kelty Carport good or bad?

I have two of the large Kelty carports that I use in different applications. Both have done duty for three plus years with no problems. As in any of these types of structures, securing them properly is the biggest thing you can do to extend their life expectancy.

Official Overland Expo 2011 thread: Videos, Pictures and Updates

Another Warfield fan here. This was a prototype kitchen that Charles Warfield has been working on. The power comes from a National Luna Power Pack in front of the driver's side drawer. This particular unit has plans for AT's cool heat exchanger and pump (both on back order). The hob and sink...

    A440 replacement...which way to go?

I have a 89 that I just installed a H55F into. Easiest conversion ever with all Toyota parts. The extent of the holes is three into the firewall (already marked) for the clutch master cylinder and weld the tranmission mounts to the frame. It is as clean and as OEM a conversion as one could...

    larger gas tank on D90

Aerotanks out of Corona CA was the manufacturer of the auxillary tank that went between the frame and body on the passenger side that was sold by others. It's a long shot but Inland Rovers had one of their tanks stashed away, if you are serious give them a call and see if they still have it. I...
