Tundra regular cab short bed (RCSB)

They are not making a RCSB Tundra for 2014, and probably never will again (at least not in the V8 4x4 configuration). Grab a 2013 if you can! It's what I did :)

Tundra regular cab short bed (RCSB)

haha yeah. well, i just looked up and down their entire facebook for that build. it is not terribly practical. it took delivery of THREE different 2014 tundras models to make that one RCSB tundra. definitely an awesome project ---- but not really practical haha.

Those are really cool! I am wondering how they dealt with the ECU? Without the proper supercharger flash the fuel would be too rich? It could also damage the transmission.

I wasn't a fan of the 2014s either. Personally liked the front end of the older models better. They also took out the driver's side handle on the A pillar, which made getting into an already tall truck harder (I'm not super big). Have no idea why they did that. But I had been following this...

Tundra regular cab short bed (RCSB)

They have certified the 2014s with the supercharger? Meaning there is an updated ECU for the 2014s? Last I heard it requires a new intake and fit kit: PTR29-00140 Supercharger Main Assembly 2014 Tundra, This part has a tentative release date of October 2014 PTR29-34140 Supercharger...

Tundra regular cab short bed (RCSB)

Figured I'd revive this thread. I love the RCSB Tundra... was hoping to get a 2014 version but they weren't making them anymore. Got it end of last year and had it shipped here from Maryland. Got 6K off MRSP. Here are some shots from various roadtrips. It has the TRD Supercharger and Line-X...

Very nice! This is the exact same truck I had before getting the Tundra, minus the mods. They are good trucks, reliable and durable. Still have it. 1997 Tacoma 4x4 4 cylinder auto. It has over 220K miles on.

Anyone Expo a regular cab Toyota 4x4 ??

I do... LOVE it. But it has to fit your lifestyle, too. Am single so don't need the extra space. It is also supercharged... lots of fun offroading when all the wheels are receiving power.

Yeah, it is super fun. Had the supercharger on for over a month now, and still can't stop smiling when I drive it.

Dwill - sure! I'll take some more this weekend and post. Totally agree with you - personally think the Tundra RCSB is the best looking Tundra model. Love the short wheelbase, wide stance, and V8 power.

Tundra COIL SPRINGS question (OFFROAD package vs. SR5 vs. CREWCAB/CREWMAX vs 2WD/4WD)

Finally got it all installed. Got the OEM TRD coil springs (for the 146" wheelbase part number) with OEM Bilsteins. It lifted the front of the truck about 1-2 inches. Love the look, and the ride is great. So with Toyota's "offroad package", it is not just upgraded shocks as some have mentioned...

Here is mine: 2013 Tundra V8 5.7 Supercharged RCSB Magnetic Gray Recent trips were to Yosemite, Mammoth, and Mono Lake. Previous vehicle was a 1997 Toyota Tacoma 4cyl automatic 4x4 with 220K miles. Plan on selling it after I clean it all up. mods: TRD Supercharger Line-X front and rear...

Tundra COIL SPRINGS question (OFFROAD package vs. SR5 vs. CREWCAB/CREWMAX vs 2WD/4WD)

Have you driven the SR5 springs vs the TRD springs? I have, and they both handle very differently. The only skid plate that comes with the RCSB w/ offroad package is the fuel tank skid plate - and that is a JOKE. It is made of plastic that is very loosely held together by a strap and some...

Tundra COIL SPRINGS question (OFFROAD package vs. SR5 vs. CREWCAB/CREWMAX vs 2WD/4WD)

Hey guys - I have searched all over the net to find an answer to this, but have not been able to get a straight answer. About to purchase a 2013 RCSB 4x4 with the SR5 package. Wanted the offroad package but there weren't many of these left with this package and the color I wanted. I also...
