I would choose long bed before a selectable locker. the VSC does a wonderful job and worse case, just add an air locker...

nice write up, now wheel a lot and it will rub your metal under the headlights, and probably pop your fender flares too... I've cut a notch in my bumper to clear the fender flares, but it rubs under the headlights, which IMO is a very bad design that could've been fixed easily.

I prefer a tacoma. with double cab I get quite a lot of inside space for gear and /temp controlled" area. And in the back I can throw everything and sleep in there. Main down side is the length/wheelbase.

Same here, I mostly use my 18-200 for convenience. I'd love to have a 70-200 F2.8 but $ is tight. I also carry the 50 1.8 and a Sigma 10-20. the 10-20 gets used more and more now as the picture quality is better than the 18-200. and around 12 it makes awesome landscape pictures.

Aside from the hang-up issue some are experiencing, this product is awesome. Expensive but APRS it itself is worth quite a lot. You can plug your radio/ipod and it will mute/lower the volume when someone talks on the other band. 2M/70cm and also 220MHz (1W only)...
