The Family Daily Driver ExPo Rig Thread!

With the family in the rig, I would pick an SUV over a pickup. During long trips, I like having the cooler in the rig because it lets a person in the back seat hand me ice cold sodas :) My bronco wheels pretty good too

    How many shoot RAW?

Depends on the situation. If its a serious shoot or money is involved, its RAW only. If I'm just out with some friends or shooting some wheeling, JPEG is enough.

    Hydroplaning KM2s

That's not very efficient at 15%. I chose my AT's because: 1. I DD my rig and put over 15k miles a year on it. The road manners have been awesome. 2. There is very little mud in CA. I encounter mud for 1 to 2 trips. The AT's have gripped well on all the trails and rocks I've ever been on. I'd...

    Stan's AEV build.

Thanks. I've been quite happy with it. Now I need a winch :ylsmoke: I'll have to look into those seats. I really like the Mastercraft RS'. They're comfortable and match my interior.

    Stan's AEV build.

Right now the plans are to get my sliders on and rewire all of my accessories to a neat/tidy location. I'd like to pick up a Tuffy center console with stereo slot and put my accessory switches there. Further down the road I would like to build a rear bumper/tire carrier with a flip down table...

What's the Trick to getting Good Shots?

Thanks John. I was working with my girlfriend for the first time. Trying out the model thing. I used my 50 f/1.4 for this shoot. I posted on POTN and got a lot of useful information about lighting and exposure. I focused on her eye (left eye IIRC) and used f/2.8. I'm going to stop down a tad...

95 2 Door Tahoe SAS project

Very nice build, but I don't think you want that much negative arch flexed.

Best deal on a 5D Mark II?

Just putting this out there. If you're looking to get the 5D and already have your own lenses, I'd be happy to take the kit lens (24-105 f4L) off your hands for the price difference. Its included in the kit for a discounted price. So if you're in the market; that's the lens I want. Just keep me...

What's the Trick to getting Good Shots?

Cool. I kind of want to do it, but I also want to be artistic. I feel there's a time and place for both. What kind of photos are in National Geographic? I feel like those pictures are solid.
