Man, this build is gonna look so amazing when it's done. It looks great now, but once you get that trailer paint matched it is gonna be damn near perfection.

Was a rainy day today, so I didn't get to work on my trailer at all, but decided to get the propane tank brackets made, and caught a break this afternoon to bolt it on. I used some L track studs, and cut some 6061 1/4" plate to the dimensions I needed, and drilled everything out on the press. I like this Powertank bracket, black powdercoated stainless with all stainless hardware. Then added a tank wrap to keep the uglies away. 🤣

Yes I was surprised. It's pretty fitting to the tank. And the draw string at the bottom pulls pretty tight. I do think they have some for 30s as well. But fits this 20# bottle pretty dang well.

We had our first use of the truck camper and my boys trailer together as a family on a short 5 day outing in Arkansas. Everything functions so well, we couldn't be happier TBH. Hallmark made us an amazing camper. Truma heater SIPS the propane fuel (35F lows at night), and we used the water heater only during shower times before bed. Left at 84% on the tank fill, arrived home after 5 days with 62%. I think we will have PLENTY of propane for our needs and usage, but time will tell. Was an amazing trip.

What size propane tank, 5lb? What did you have the temp set at if I can ask?

It's a 20lb vertical. And I have another 20lb vertical on the rear as a spare. We kept ours on 68 in night mode.
When we first kicked it on we had it in standard mode set at 70 till we went to sleep. Just to get the inside up to a comfortable temp.

That's really impressive. 68° is like at home comfort, not like "comfortable for camping" comfort. The fact you were out 5 days and only dropped by ~1 gal is pretty impressive. I was looking at the smaller units from them for my truck bed (I don't need much) and to say they sip propane is an understatement. They also look to use very little electricity from what I can find online.

Agreed. I'm putting this same Truma Varioheat in my boys camper as well. I'm super impressed with it.
From what I can see it's literally single digit watts when running, and I'd bet alot of that is function of the control screen itself.

Gotcha. Just transfer over the flatbed and camper to the new rig? Think you'll stick with Ram or look at something else?

No this will stay as is, just more improvements slowly over time, but I'm looking around for another beater at the moment.
