But I am a little confused....

Do we have to check in with tribal people for permits, if so where?

WHERE is base camp?

Thanks

Mike

I am sending out exact details to everyone who has registered for the event via e mail. I'll get to it either this evening or tomorrow. I spent the whole day today at the Pyramid Reservation gathering together the last of the information that I needed.

The planning for this event has been very comprehensive with nothing left to chance. A general map indicating the base camp is on page two of this thread, more detailed directions will be e mailed to you.

We are closing off registration for The Pyramid Lake Adventure this weekend, so if you are still sitting on the fence it's time to make your mind up. Close off is 6.00 pm Pacific Standard Time this Sunday.

To register you need to e mail me at martyn@adventuretrailers.com

Response to the event has been huge, we have around 45 individual campsite and 83 people registered. I scouted out the base camp area today and there is lots of room for everyone.

From this point forward I will be contacting everyone who has registered for the event via e mail with the final details. If you have any questions please e mail me directly.

Good news for the movie goers Totally Off Road from Sparks, Nevada is bringing out an industrial popcorn machine!

You DOGS! This is going to one great event and I wish I could join you. Too many conflicting pulls on my time and $$ to allow it this time.:(

Enjoy yourselves and post back a ton of pics and reports so the rest of us can live vicariously through you.:wings:

Martyn,
I want to thank you and Mario for setting this up, it does sounds like a helluva good time. I will be looking forward to the e-mail with final details. It sounds like the turnout is great and I am looking forward to seeing the faces that go with the names here.
Thanks again,
Steve

Lets get some GPS Coordinates of Basecamp for those of us that might show up in the wee hours Friday night

:D

Would have done that if I owned a GPS, or if I could have borrowed one on the day I did my scouting.

So it's fall back time to the days when map reading was king !

I have provided everyone who registered with verbal descriptions of the route, mileage of the route, and pictures of all key junctions and landmarks. If you haven't received all of these e mail me at martyn@adventuretrailers.com for your copy.

Agreed. I met some very nice, intelligent people. Noticeably missing was the 'punk kid' attitude. Looking forward to the next Adventure Trailers event.

Thanks for putting on such a great gathering... This was a first for me and my wife. I was told that most four x gatherings are not of this maturity level, so I guess I've just gotten spoiled. The camp settups there were amazing and the people were great. I have never delt with a more hospitable and helping crowd. Thank you for being so very kind to a newby.:wings:

I had a great time and it was so nice to meet everyone in person.

Here is one of my favorite trucks of the run :) Thanks for the few minutes behind the wheel of your sweet 90. When she saw the pictures of your Defender, Stephanie said "ooooo, I want one of those".
