You guys played in the rocks huh?

More like the rocks played with us! Unlike our local trails in Big Bear, Johnson Valley , etc. these rocks liked to move around, darn things wouldn't stay in one spot! :gunt:

Wow! What a good time! We are so pleased with how the event turned out for a first time experiment. Everybody had fun and left with a smile on their face. We could not have pulled it off without the help of Brian at Totally Off Road in Sparks, Jim's guys from Nth Degree, Chuck Faulkerson and everybody who not only came to have fun but helped out wherever necessary. You guys rock!!!

There were over 70 people in attendance making up 30 separate camps and an impressive showing of 23 Adventure Trailers, 2 home built units and 1 Vintage. At the end of each day, all around were folks resting in their camp chairs until some simply fell asleep with silly happy grins on their mugs...sign of a good time indeed.

For those who left on Sunday to get back to the grind, you missed yet another BBQ & side dish left overs get together at the south camp fire ring. Brian brought out his pics and video of the runs that we watched fireside on Fiamma awning on my MJ. Very cool stuff. He is going to but the creme de la creme on DVD for everyone that attended.

Martyn & I are already plotting other events to bring people together to camp and explore more beautiful & interesting places. No dates just yet but you can be sure that we'll keep you posted. :wings:

Once again, thanks to all those who drove the miles to hang out & play. We hope to see you out there again with us.

Thanks Mario and Martyn for your hospitality! Especially so, for making a guy who brought the odd-ball CJ-7 Offroad Trailer and a Chinese car-top-tent to an AT convention! You made me feel welcome. I had a great time and hope to attend another in the future.
Best reguards,

That looks to have been one great gathering. Sorry we couldn't make it. We're not prone to joining large groups, but I believe that this one would have been an exception. Anyway, the size didn't keep us away, just preparing for a trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon this week.

Great photos all! Thanks for posting them for us who weren't there.

How'd you make it stand up properly? Just drape it straight down?
It's on my roof rack so I simply let is unfurl down the side of the vehicle.

It was an honor to see such great vehicles, trailers and people, always good to meet good people and not the bad guys.. I willl be looking forward to the next meeting of off road trailer freaks..
