Almost have everything in now. Bought a new Borgeson 800124 with the big oversized bearings and sent it out for hydraulic ports to be added for possible future upgrades. Also got some EMF bushings to eliminate any steering shaft slop. Just need to decide now on going ahead and adding a truss to the front axle now or get all this thrown on and adding it later when I do new seals and pull the axles for upgraded u joints and a free spin kit. 🤔

I've been thinking about this truss kit from Artec. https://artecindustries.com/products/aam-9-25-lower-truss-with-inner-c-gussets

@Kingsize24 Hey....

Do more things to your truck. I need some entertainment while I'm eating my lunch.

Thanks.

I'm currently working my ******** off on the trailer. Getting all the roof bracing and insulation completed as well as adding the AC unit. We literally leave Saturday morning.... 😳😬, so I'm REALLY behind.

Well it's finally not as hot as the gates of hell in Texas, so I've had a chance to do a few things and pick up where I left off.

I got some new clips to replace the dry rotted ones that were not holding the headlights in well. Also got a full set of Diode Dynamics bulbs to replace everything in the truck. Then new windshield wipers and had my heavily cracked windshield replaced.

Then started cleaning up the rear of the truck in preparation for the old Expedition One bumper I originally had on my 2018. Clean, prep, repaint, and then mounted the bumper and added new bearings, races, and seals for the swing outs. I also have new pins coming in for the locks from EX One. Then started cleaning up and mocking the wheels and tires for fit.

Then today I finally got the wheels on. This is zero lift, stock height with 37s. It rubs VERY slightly at full lock on the plastics at the rear. I'll be adding the springs and shocks here soon, as well as the used Carli arms, which are 1/2" longer.

This is as it sits today. Super happy with where it has come so far. It's been a great truck. She's currently sitting at just under 218k miles.

Just got the rear axle cleaned up, new front seal, sand blasted the rear cover, then painted it all once it was filled with Amsoil. Put the daystar cradles on the bags, and the new Bilstein setup. These are super long travel. 6" of compression travel, and 8" of extension from ride height. 14" total.

Spent the day getting the full front suspension off, completely cleaning, sanding, prepping, rust converting the frame, then painting with steel-it. Also got in the Thuren shackles, and a new set of latch locks for the old Expedition One rear swing outs today. Hopefully tomorrow will be reassembly day. Then a trip to the alignment shop Monday or Tuesday.

Front is mostly done. Just waiting on new lower arm cam bolts. The old ones were just hammered with corrosion. I'll then button it up, grease everything, and give it an alignment. It wasn't without some fun however. That axle is heavy AF. And my finger paid for it. Not broken, just bruised, but boy howdy!!!
