its been a good product and done everything I've ever needed it to do. The one thing I would do over is opt for the synthetic cable though.

NFabworks utilitrac High lift jack Mount

Have not made many mods in a while but a couple weekends ago I installed a set of high lift jack mounts from NFabworks:

As you can see in this next picture I mounted it on the front wall of the bed.

This has alway been my best choice, since it allows me to continue to use the bed extender. These mounts make that possible.

Replaced 4" blocks with 2" Blocks and 2-leaf pack

After 2 years of lift my rear leafs were really sagging. I ordered the 2" blocks and 2-leaf deaver spring pack from PRG products. The old u-bolts had to be cut off but other then that the install was a snap. Here's a view of the setup.

Swaping to M226

I picked up a used M226 out of manual SE, along with the matching front diff.

The final drive will go from 3.357 to 3.692 which will compensate for the bigger tires. The M226 also gives me an opportunity to add an air locker. :wings:

Rear Axle and front diff are installed and everything seems to be working okay. Should get the locker installed within the next couple weeks.

Then I'll be looking for an excuse to hit the trails.

Congrats on the M226.
What did you decide to swap axles instead of waiting for the Powertrax?

thx, well i always wanted to swap the gears, but never was able to find a front and rear at the same time, so the powertrax was a good plan b. But then mustard was selling his set and I jumped on it. I would have like to find one with an e-locker, but this plan works too. The locker should be here next week and then once installed I'm going to be ready to make a trip to VA and/or URE.

You got a weekend in June available for some wheelin?

I think at the end. The boy's football season ends in a few weeks then I should have full weekends open again.

that should work good. we've got some visitors coming in the middle of the month.

BTW - It looks like you convinced at least one of your kids to go with you to RC this past weekend. :victory:

EDIT: The new ABS Sensors are installed and all systems are now working.

I've also begun the install of the ARB Compressor that will support the Air Locker

Your truck has come a long way & it looks awesome. So the big question is....what size tire are you going to run now that you guys have gears? :victory:

I am going to stick with the 295/75/16 but will probably switch to BFG AT TA. I looked at going taller, but don't really want to go any wider which means I'd need to go up to a 17" or 18" wheel and that is not in the cards right now. Also since I just went from 3.36 to 3.69, which pretty much made up for the change in tire size, I think I am sticking with what I got for a while.

I'd like to do the M205 swap and through in some 4.10, but that aint happening anytime soon. Unless something breaks ;)
