IMHO, its no different setting up the base camp tent than it is setting up any "shock-corded" tent. I especially like the overall room-i-ness (if one can say that about a this size tent). The Eezi-Awn and the likes sacrifice size for ease of setup from my perspective. I've been camping for over 40 years and I guess I'm not going to get too excited if it takes 15-20 minutes versus 5. I am more interested in the hours of use after it's set up . . . :coffeedrink:

Set up both tents this afternoon and even being unfamilar with it (my first time) the total time for both wasnt 30 minutes. guess we all measure PITA from different perspectives. . . :ylsmoke:

I continue to be impressed with the overall engineering of this unit. It's often little things but from my perspective, when the little things get attention too, its that kind of production detail that gives the consumer a much better level of satisfaction, appreciation, and obviously happiness when purchasing anything these days. And when the price of these products is figured in (sometimes it pays to be late to the party!), ya just can't go wrong.

You are correct about this being the deal of the century.
I hate that Dean is being this severely affected by the economy but it is to our benefit. I thought I had hammered out a good deal, but you guys are getting steals!

I do think this also helps bring more folks the the expedition trailer experience, thus spreading the fever for this. That will only benefit our forum sponsors once all the Conquerors are gone.
