Thanks again Wil.
Hey Pablo, any idea how thick these are? They look pretty robust, do you think their will be any issues with a 100 lb beast sleeping, walking, scratching or jumping on them? Meaning are they as thick as say a Scepter or a bit thinner? What about stacking say a heavy tool bag on top of it? Will it deform or crush?
Hey Kurt,
I honestly think that you could put just about anything you want on top of the tank, short of a fridge. A tool bag, Jada, or most of your gear. I would put the thickness somewhere a Scepter MFC and a Scepter water can. Very stout for what it is.

I have no clue what im going to do with the hose yet.. seems weird to me, no matter where i place it. Also, i kept the rugged floor mat in place for any sudden leaks. Just good to have imho.
The steel bar setup is the African Outback bed extensions that bolt in place of stock mounts for the 2nd row seats. I just took the extensions out for a better view and ease of install. We use that under deck for storage of light items, sleeping bags and other items we don't want crushed.
Has anyone used or have experience with the 40L Rack Mount Water Tank ?
I am thinking about flat mounting it to my truck bed floor just in front of or over the rear axle. I thought it might be a good spot for easy hose access at the tailgate.
My estimates show the tank plus mounting and full of water should be close to 100 lbs.
Is there any baffle type structure inside the tanks ?
Anyone see any problems with the hose routing with this application ?
Anyone feel 40L is to large ?
You are welcome. That looks great in there. How did you mount in the truck? Bottom? Side?
cheers,
