The things you learn on ExPo! I picked up an 8 pack of the pint sized cartons and will be trying them out. It's nice to recover a bit of space in the fridge.

Just got an 8 pack of the little cartons. These things are easy to prepare and are Tasty. Put a single layer of sliced cheese over the top as you start cooking and mix everything together after 5 or 6 minutes for even better tastyness. Ill keep ordering these for home and camping for a long time. Im thinking these with egg beaters and country gravy all layered would be an epic meal.

Very nice, I just ordered some from Amazon to try out this coming weekend, and take them on vacation.

..... well this was timely stumbling into this thread. I just saw these in the cupboard of my in-law's cabin and thought, whoa, those looks awful. I guess I should try them, as they certainly would be convient!

Yep... way better than frozen hashbrowns. We use them as well... even at home.

OK, made me a believer you did in freeze dried hash browns.
My Hungry Jack ones came the other day, just made some for lunch along with some Morningstar Maple flavored sausage patties, and a three brown egg omelette.

I know these will not keep in the carton for long, so after lunch I fired the Skottle back up and cooked off the remainder of the carton, and will be taking the rest to have for lunch at work tomorrow.
So easy to cook, the other three boxes are going in my Alu-box pantry for camping.

I get the "Idahoan" ones in mylar bags, Safeway carries them. Great for backpacking, and less bulky than the cartons.

I am at Safeway once a week, will have to look for them.
Probably in the same section as the instant mashed potatoes?

The wife was sceptical but I made her a believer. Turned them into nests for eggs. The next day the flip didn't go so well (broke the yolks) so I just turned it into a hash and added shredded cheese on top
