A good friend of mine with a really nice '88 FJ62, emailed me a new pic he took up at his cabin last weekend. I've tried to buy this LC from him a couple of times. He's been tempted but he just can't sell it. I understand.

It's ok, I like what I have now. We're planning to get our 'Cruisers together on a trail soon -

OME, ARB, Warn, Garvin, Slee, MAF, BFG MT, PIAA, CB, GPS, L M N O P.... etc.

hey, I log those! been down to 110'.
I've seen some surveyors trucks and they aren't nearly as gnarly as that!

Yeah we do a fair bit deeper with ours! A normal hole is around 600m (2000') and the tools are good to 2500m (8200') however I've never personally been past 1100m (3600')

In the spirit of the thread I just ran outside and snapped a few pictures of my little fleet:

Yes, and DAMNIT, i wish i kept that old plate!

It might be available again. Once we're done with this trip, we'll be settling down in San Antonio, so I'll be registering the 80 there. If you're serious about the plate, contact the DMV and see how it can be done.

BTW, thanks for building a great 80. We just arrived in Green River, UT and plan on spending a few days exploring.
