Im using a multitool to remove one of the bench dividers. This current space now will hold a 35-36 gallon water tank.

I had to slip in and hand saw the screws in the panels. Wore out the multi tool blade trying to cut them. Lots of labor went into this modification.

I may possibly move up the switch panel. This will allow more unobstructed room for the counter, sink, stove.

The piece of wood that came out is solid. Ill probably repurpose it in this rig?

Dropped the rig off at Pacific Auto Service here in San Diego. Awesome shop and has always done extras and above and beyond service.

My AC clutch was engaging and disengaging every 2-3 seconds. Whic means something is wrong, low freon, a switch or sensor, or clogged orifice tube. Lets see what they find. Hope its not $$

When I first bought this at the end of last July. They recharged the freon and added dye. But here I am a year later almost exactly. Im guessing and hoping its just a high low pressure sensor or the ac cycle switch itself.

Dometic CRX-50 on its way. Its small at a total volume of 1.7cubic feet. But it fits inside my 16" cabinets. I may stack two and have one as a freezer.

Also, two XTR31-135 from VMAX. It will total 270 amp hours.

Next is the water tank...probably 40 gallons fresh water under the bench to balance out the weight distribution. And probably a small grey underneath the kitchen area mounted under the body.

270 AMP hours. Should be good for this setup. The batteries fit like a glove and good clearance for connecting them.

Dometic CRX50 prior to install. Ill see how it goes. May end up running a top loader for extra food. My goal is to be out for 10-14 days with no refills on water or food.

Renogy solar kit also came. Will post photos during install.

Just made a huge mess!!! So much for keeping things super clean haha.

Its tricky working around the existing cabinets. This is a rough mockup of the final install.

The Dometic CRX50 I got at Raneys Trucks online. $440 I think it was. Black door and 12volt. I ordered the flush mount stainless steel mounting flange from Defender Marine in Seattle.

Working on getting a replacement CRX50. This one has a dented condenser tube.

Just about finished today. Took four days of careful measuring and cutting. Then finishing with hand files.

Its hard working around the high quality cabinets. Especially not to damage whats left and make sure its clean and straight. But its starting to come together.

The whole cabinet was pushed back about 6 inches. It will fit the Dometic fridge up top perfectly. And it really opens up the space and floor.

Empty spot in the storage cabinet floor. Filled it in with 3/4".
Removing the rear jump seat. And exposed two circles that were cut as seat belt tie down spots.

Since the cabinet was cut back 6". It made one oval into an open circle. Both are odd shapes. I clamped 3/4" to it and traced out the odd shape.

Cut it out with a jig saw. Then spent about 15 min on each piece with a hand file to finish odd angles and hammered them both in. Really tight and snug as is. But Ill top it off with liquid nails. Etc.

I just put in a linking solenoid so I can charge my house battery when driving...my,110ahu and 200 watt renology were not enough to keep the fridge cold on 90*+ days in the van..or after 3 days of clouds and 70*... I plan on adding another 100ahu as well.

Now I can top off the house batteries when driving..

I read through some of your build pages. How do you like the fridge edgestar 2.1 you have? Does it draw a fair amount of amps? Nice to hear you have a solenoid to charge the house batteries while driving or anytime the engine runs.

I was restricted with my layout and fridge possibilities. But Im hoping the two batteries and solar I bought. Ouch$$ will be ok.

Ive had 2 edge stars and loved them both!! I forget the amp draw but its comparable to the mid range fridges..I'm beginning to suspect my house battery might be reaching the end of its life too...it wasn't always well maintained in the old trailer set up.

There are about 25 wires all numbered to keep track while I relocate the switch panel. This is to make room for the sink stove area and not have to worry about water splashes and heat etc.

Loom has the two wires for the MaxxFan. Snaked it through the "attic" around the rear hvac unit to the switch panel. I passed a big ground on the way. So Ill probably ground it there. Its a steel plate welded to the roll bar. Has other access points and one is already grounding some lights. Just need. Bolt and lock washers etc.
