Lightweight platform and drawer

Thanks for all the fine ideas.
I am building a stitch and glue platform to try and keep the weight to a minimum.
It is for a 2012 f 150 with a 6 1/2 foot bed.
29 inch drawer on one side and a bed level slide for cooler and dry box on the other side.

Maybe one of you can help me.
I am looking for heavy duty sliders which won't fail or get stuck when being out in the open for an extended time.
I need them for a drawer system that´ll go on my open tray.
This is what I have currently but I am not happy with the Frontrunner slides and the boxes are crap....

Oyster9 - Hope you post up some pics with the system installed. Interested to see how it all comes together.
That is my intent.
I am currently building some corrals out of pipe for friend in Montana and will put this to work when I head south to install the corrals in the spring.
I will post photos as work slowly progresses

True. The full-size trucks I've seen them on have pretty stout trays carrying some impressive loads and move effortlessly and lock solidly.
