I am working flat out, so just give me a GPS coordinate or some directions to camp.

Fortunately, the truck is pretty much fuel and go right now.

l. So just to clarify, there are bypasses for obstacles like the one that eats drive shafts and such?

From what I understand....yes. But after John takes the latte-mobile through there, the peer pressure will be so great that no one will bypass anything. ;)

--j/k (about the peer pressure, John will be taking the school bus through there....)

I'm gonna go into work for a couple of hours in the EARLY am and plan on getting on the road around 10am.
Wanna caravan?

Sure, assuming 2 things.

1: You don't mind driving slow. The jeeps gas milage goes to crap over ~70mph....

and:

2: If I get my jeep back on time (it is at the shop having the front axle housing straitened--apparently there is a first time for everything).

Both my upper rear arm bushings are shot in the 100. My PS arm moves freely back and forth. There's noise noise noise. I should have new arms Wednesday so the Big Orca Whalemobile should be there. I plan on bypassing nothing except the ShaftEater. (Sorry Times)

OH!! AND YOUR DESIRE TO HAVE DAKTARI ED THERE IS OVERWHELMING.....BUT YOU'RE TOO LATE. SCOTT AND I ALREADY TOLD HIM TO SHOW! :victory: :D

That's it though folks. We can't have any other "show-ups" or we'll be in there for too long. Thanks!

I'm sure I will be taking some bypasses. The pucker factor is already setting in on me and it's only Tuesday! :peepwall:

No worries. Mike went through here with us in McRover. The Disco did GREAT until the bent rear arm on the very last stretch (near the ShaftEater). There were some places where his lockers helped for sure. I think you might have MORE fun that the rest due to traction control. Count your blessings! :sombrero:

Yea, I've heard that before.....you'll do it. You'll see a couple of us do it and make it look easy...then you'll start thinking "damn, I bet I could get the big orca whale-mobile over that without any problem....", and then we'll spot you over it, and then you'll pry the seat out of your :shakin:, and then you'll wonder why you even thought twice about it....

:gunt:

Yer right....but I've already done that obstacle. 4 bent rear d-shafts out of 5 80's. I've already had the fun experience on ShaftEater. :chowtime:

By the way Brian....we're hoping you'll try to bypass the ShaftEater and climb right up the rock wall instead. I bet you could make it. The far right side of this pic:

Great! Thanks for the encouragement John! "I bet you could make it" goes right along with "hold my beer and watch this!"

Wrong Brian. :) I was referring to Goodtimes.

Well, none of us folks in MWB or LWB would try that line. I'd have a V-cracked Cruiser afterwards.

Mike McDonald said he thought Leo could get his D90 up that rock face. I think Goodtimes Brian and 40-series DaktariEd have shot though.
