Same area, worse conditions - snow drifts to 4', winter storm occurring.
Daniel Ellis Conner and his partner decided to walk from the main camp on Lynx Creek (the historic site is just south of the current community of Walker, AZ.) to to the camp on the Hassayampa (somewhere west of where we dropped off Scott - not sure of it's exact location). They made it to the top of the divide near Potato Patch, and exhausted from breaking trail made a sheltered camp near a dead and down root ball. The following day they made there way down the creek to camp.
Just another day or two...
