Wow. Excuse me while I go change my shorts.

I have been seriously thinking about getting a 4R Trail. This makes me want one even more. Im hoping Jan or Feb of 2014 I will be buying one.

Its already been said, but, best looking 5th gen Ive seen. In the future, I may be copying some of your mods!

Very well done Sir. The truck looks great, and well thought out. Congratulations.

Cheers,

I appreciate all the compliments. As stated at the beginning. I can't take all the credit as it is merely a blend of what others have done.

Lockhart Basin, Moab, UT. In the snow, more to come.

Sorry but that looks miserable. :) I love Lockhart Basin but running it in the cold and the wet and slippery doesn't look fun.

It just makes it more exciting! It did put a downer on lunch but other than that we didn't mind it. Certainly made the obstacles more challenging.

We went down a branch from the main Kane Creek trail. The whole trail has been pretty washed out, much tougher than I remember it being last year. It was still beautiful and perhaps my favorite Moab trail. One of our group members didn't make it...

Just kidding, but that gives you an idea of how much water has gone through recently. That thing still has nearly all it's parts.

Here are a few more pics.

That looks to be a Trooper...maybe a Montero? If a Trooper, I could use some parts.

Your truck makes me wanna scrap my 4th gen build and start fresh on a 5th gen te. Great build. How do you have your secondary fuel tank feeding the system?

@birdmann It acts as a transfer tank with a switch activated pump. If you've got a V8 in your 4th I'd hang on to it!

Very nice rig! I like the Aux tank idea, I may have to do something similar as my range is horrible right now and I do have the space underneath. So I gather that the pump from the aux tank goes to a custom fitting that was added to the OEM tank?

And some videos

If you listen close on the Hell's gate video, you can hear the rear bumper stopping the vehicle from going over backwards who knows how many times. Thanks @cbioffroadfab! The first run for pictures was flawless thanks to a focused spotter, and you'll see the results of the second video run with a distracted spotter.

Just ordered some 4:56 ring and pinions and some heavy duty rear axles from Nitro. Excited to experience the difference.

I am really liking your vehicle. I think you made the smarter decision backing up vs listening to your spotter telling you to turn driver.:)
